Book 2 – A conversation between Arief and the Zebracorn. First written in Bahasa by Salsabila, a descendent of Arief.
Arief: How were you created?
Zebracorn: In the beginning, there was only space-wandering pure energy. When the pure energy used its creative power, I was created. In a sense, pure energy and creative power are my parents. I am energy and creativity. Energy and creativity is me.
Arief: Are you real or imaginary?
Zebracorn: I’m imaginary.
Arief: So you’re not real?
Zebracorn: I’m a little bit real. Imagination is in between real and nothing. I’m imaginary but I created matter using my imagination. Creating something new from only energy or only imagination is very complicated and rare. It’s like throwing a key at a door until the key goes into the lock.
Arief: How was life on Earth created?
Zebracorn: With the exact (precise quantities) chemicals and the exact (precise amount and form) energy, the cosmic creative force creates a living cell. This is a very rare occurrence and these living cells usually don’t last long. In a very rare moment, energy created a cell which had the ability (to use the cosmic creative force) to recreate (duplicate) itself.
Arief: If life was created by chemicals and energy, does that mean you didn’t create life?
Zebracorn: I created all the chemicals and the energy in the Cosmos and those chemicals and that energy created life.
Arief: How did a single cell (organism) lead to complicated life forms like us?
Zebracorn: You can learn all about that by studying evolution.
