The following ten canons have been created to highlight the most important advice from the Zebracorn.
1-It’s common for people to congregate with others who have a similar appearance and similar culture. Individuals should make an effort to be friendly, or at least be pleasant, to those who grew up in a different culture and who look different to oneself. Life on Earth started from a a single living cell. Human beings are one large family.
2-Trust Thyself. One should always remember that (with the Zebracorn’s guidance) there are more answers within that without.
3-Create from birth til death. Fore example, create good relationships! create art! create a happy life! Study, learn, train, practice and work diligently in order to create more and create better things.
4-Know how to forgive. At least, for a moment, imagine yourself in the other person’s shoes with all their motives and misconceptions.
5-When emotional, calming down should be one’s priority. When calm, exaggerate your emotions for effect…..and for humour.
6-Make a habit of speaking the truth. Only speak untruths and conceal information if you will be always ready to quickly confess and forever be proud of your reasons.
7-Honour thy parents and anyone who raised you as a young child like a parent. Specific grievances can be dealt with one at a time but overall a parent’s mistakes and bad judgments are always negated by the fact that you are still alive.
8-Killing should be avoided wherever possible, especially living things that are human-like, human baby sized or larger, non-aggressive, cute, capable of showing emotions and intelligent. Killing a living thing with a high level of these qualities should be met with an appropriate level of solemness. Even in the case of killing the smallest, most dangerous, most aggressive, least intelligent, edible and least human-like living thing, one should acknowledge that fact that a life has been taken.
9-Taking an item which would not be willfully given, if one was in the opposite situation. For example if you were a fruit tree and you freely gave your fruit away, then you are free to take fruit from such a tree. If you would be happy to find a gold coin in replace of one of your possessions, then you can consider leaving a gold coin in order to take such an item. (However, there’s no saying whether or not the other person will tolerate your trespassing or even have any value for gold.)
10-Believe in none or as many goods as you wish but believe that there is only one god creating, cosmos creating mystical creature.
